After girls golf team disbands at North Shore Country Day, senior Caroline Gray finds success competing as individual

Caroline Gray has had quite the high school golf career.

The North Shore Country Day senior’s playing days looked a little different than most, however.

North Shore fielded its first-ever girls golf team in 2017, when Gray was a freshman. But for the next three years the number of girls coming out for the team dwindled. And for the past two seasons, Gray played as an individual on the girls side and was an individual entry into the state tournament as well.
