New Trier junior and Wildcat Golf Academy member Andrew Sigurdson raised $4,500 for the First Tee of Greater Chicago. Andrew made 30 birdies this year and collected $3,000, which the USGA then matched at 50% on the dollar making a total donation of $4,500.  Andrew presented the check to TFTGC Board of Governors at their December meeting.

Andrew, a playing member of the AJGA, fundraised through the AJGA’s Leadership Links program. The Leadership Links program is a collaborative effort between the AJGA and the USGA to teach young men and women charitable giving skills and service oriented practices at an early age.
