Chip Savarie, an 8th grader from Winnetka, IL, earned three top two finishes this week.

Savarie earned medalist honors at the IJGA Sectional #7 at Old Oak CC on July 17 with a five over par 76. He also finished tied for second at both the IJGA Regional #11 at Green Garden CC on July 15 (78) and the IJGA Regional #12 at Red Tail GC on July 19 (76).

He leads the IJGA in Par 3 Performance, average 2.75; Most Pars, 12; Par 5 Performance, average 4.75; and Top Finishes (14). Savarie is currently first in the 2013 IJGA Junior Boys Player of the Year Point Standings.
