Jason Paek (2014, Glenview, IL) and Blake Yaccino (2016, Kenilworth) earned victories at the MAGT’s Junior Patriot Cup in Grand Haven, MI.

Paek played his first seven holes in 4-over-par, but notched three birdies in his final twelve holes to shoot a 3-over-par 75 to equal a tournament total of 154. Paek and Brian Dolehide (2015, Hinsdale) finished the tournament tied for first. However, Paek took home the top prize after beating Dolehide on the second playoff hole. WGA’s Bennett Cotton (2018, Winnetka, IL) finished tied for third with a tournament total of 155.

In the girls division, Blake Yaccino shot a 12-over-par 84 on the final day and a tournament total of 164 to capture that title.

It was the first MAGT tournament win this season for both Paek and Yaccino.

The MAJGT will host the second championship of the season July 16-18 in Lake Geneva, WI, for the Championship at Geneva National.
