Chip Savarie, an 8th grader from Winnetka, earned medalist honors at IJGA’s Sectional #5 at Links at Carillon Golf Course on June 20. Savarie shot an even 72 to win the event. This is his second first place finish of the week as he also won the Jr. Elite #1 @ Glenview Park Golf Course with a two day total, 71-74-175. WGA’s John Kryscio (Glenview, IL) finished second at the Jr. Elite #1 with a two-day total, 75-72-147.

Savarie also finished tied for 4th at the Al Mclean Open at Wilmette, IL, on June 19 with a 76.
