The Wildcat Golf Academy is offering specialized Spring and Summer programs for juniors of all ages at the Luke Donald Practice Facility at the Glen Club in 2016.

· Spring programming includes practice and play days at both the Glen Club and Glenview Prairie 9. The spring program begins April 18 and runs through the first week of June.

· Included in the summer program is the WGA’s first ever weeklong camp for golfers in grades 5th-8th. Two college coaches will direct this camp: Northwestern Head Coach David Inglis and Northwestern Volunteer Assistant Coach Tim Streng. The dates for this program are Monday, June 27th to Friday, July 1st.

Inaugural Wildcat Golf Academy Week Long Golf Camp
The Wildcat Golf Academy will launch its first ever week-long golf camp for golfers in grades 5th-8th. This camp will be directed by two college coaches: Northwestern Head Coach David Inglis and Northwestern Volunteer Assistant Coach Tim. Below are the details of the camp:

Dates: Monday, June 27th to Friday, July 1st
Ages: 5th grade to 8th grade (Max of 12 golfers)

Cost: $800

Schedule
9 am -11am: Range Instruction at the Luke Donald Practice Facility

11 am – 11:45 am: Lunch – Each golfer should bring their own lunch or they can buy lunch at the Prairie 9

11:45 am-12:15 pm: Proper warm up before each round

12:30 pm-2:30 pm: On course instruction

2:30 pm-3 pm: Coaches post round wrap up with group

Range instruction will consist of:
· Before and after video analysis of player’s swing
· Short game evaluation/test
· Station rotation covering all aspects of the game
· End of week short game evaluation/test

On Course Instruction:
· Course management
· Club selection
· Understanding proper pace of play
· Each day the players will compete in a fun team event
